Those Target Valentine Containers

I admit with NO shame.....I am one of those who stalk the Target dollar bins. There I've said it! There are some really interesting items in those bins and very inexpensive - I'm not talking cheap quality either.  Most items are $1 but others are about $2.50.  I always go down the dollar bin aisles thinking "oh, I could pretty this up with my Cricut or my Cameo!"  YOU guys know I'm not the only one ;p

Today I'm sharing a very quick project made with the Valentine containers I got from Target last week during my grocery run.   This is how they look like.

The school where my kids go is having an annual crab feed fundraiser this weekend and I had to decorate one of the auction baskets.  I altered these Target Valentine containers to hold some chocolates for the Valentine theme baskets I was in charge of.  For this project, all the cuts were from the Cameo using purchased images from the Silhouette store.  I could have used vinyl but I haven't really tried cutting vinyls in my Cameo yet.  Maybe for another time.

I added some Valentine ribbons and some sticker gems.

Here are some closeups:

Told ya it's quick!  Thanks for looking!
