August CC Monthly Challenge

OMG it has been sooooo long ago since I got some crafting done!  I thank all of my followers who are still here and have not unsubscribed (or didn't know how to - haha you're stuck with me - just kidding!) through my looooong "absence".  I have no excuse except that my kiddos kept me busy this past summer.  And just in case you're wondering, yep they're back to school which means I can hopefully get more crafting and blogging done.  And what better way to start again by entering some creative challenges.

I am entering this 4 page LO in the Cricut Circle Blog August Monthly Challenge.  The challenge was to create a scene using at least 2 different Cricut cuts.

I have tons of digital pictures that needed to be printed and scrapped, hence these particular pics were taken way back in 2008 during our day trip to San Francisco with a good friend who was visiting from the UK.  We packed a good deal of activities in that one day that I just had to scrap most of them.  Yes, I packed about 16 pictures in this 4-page LO.

closer look at the first 2 pages

and here's a closer look at the next 2 pages

Details of my project:

Great LO! It wonderful that you were able to use so many pictures. Also, great use of the different carts.

I LOVE how the bridge ties all the pages together and how you have juxtaposed your photos! The water and the clouds and the diving dolphins are all details that make this so interesting and fun to look at!

Can I tell you the honest truth? One reason I don't scrapbook much is because I really like photographs and sometimes the photos take 2nd place to the other elements. What I absolutely LOVE about this is how you used so many photos and kept the integrity of the project. Genius in my book!!

@ Brenda and Nadia - thanks for the very sweet comments, ladies ;)! I'm the family papparazzi so I ALWAYS end up with more pictures than I probably need LOL. Thanks for stopping by!
