Naia's Birthday Card

Hello there fellow crafters!  Thanks for stopping by!  I'm taking a break from digi scrapping (and hopefully not too long of a break this time cuz I'm way behind in scrapbooking) and showing you a card I made for my little niece who is having her 5th birthday tomorrow.  This card is 6 x 6.  The base of the card is made from the shadow of a doily cut image by Lori Whitlock, purchased from the Silhouette Store.  I cut the doily 2x and used foam mounts for a little bulk.  Then I used the internal offset feature on the Silhouette Studio for the inside cut and imported a digi image by Polly Craft.  The sentiment is written in Abbeyline font.

Here's a closeup of the image.  I am still learning to use the Promarkers I have recently purchased so be kind ;).  I think I need to buy more...

Ok, till next time!  I hope you guys are having a wonderful start of the week!

This card is any 5-year old's dream. And as far as colouring goes - it looks fine to me. You need to practise and develop your own style. You will need more markers, that's for sure! (Any ol' excuse, eh?!)
