Milkshakes and Bubbles (hybrid double LO) and happy mail ;)

Hi there!  Still in my just-get-it-done scrapbooking mojo.  I have ways to go in scrapping years of digital pictures which reside in my computer.  This double LO is yet another digital-traditional hybrid LO.  I always start creating my LO with CM StoryBook Creator, using digital papers and elements from kits I purchased or have downloaded free from the internet (just google free digital scrapbook and you'll find tons of free stuff!).  The digital papers and elements on these LO were obtained free from www.computerscrapbook.com.  I did not use a template to put my pictures in this time, although templates are available wherever you can get digital scrapbook stuff.  As I've said before, I am the family papparrazi so I always end up with more pictures than I will need and have a hard time choosing, so I scrap with multiple pictures.

This is how the pages look after I printed them in my wide format printer.  Love how the drop shadows create an illusion of depth and texture.  But....still pretty flat, eh?  I like textures I can touch too like traditional scrapbook pages.....

.....so this is where my Silhouette Studio and Cameo come in handy.  Since I have saved a copy of the LOs from my digital scrapbook software into a jpg, it was very easy to import them onto the Silhouette Studio so I can plan for those extra touches, like a bold title in this case and some cut images  I can ink, emboss, bling up and/or foam-mount.

And here are some closeups of the completed LOs

I used the Boingo font and cut the shadows 2x and offset
them a bit for more depth.  The Milkshake image is by
Sarah Bailey, from the Silhouette Store

The bubbles and wands were by Loni Harris, from the Silhouette Store

And didn't I mention I got happy mail?!  Yesterday the mailman dropped off a boxful of goodies for me!  These are the Promarkers I have been wanting for quite some time.  Can't wait to play with these!

Have a wonderful Tuesday, everyone! Thanks for stopping by!
