Let's do this!

Hope all of you had a wonderful Christmas!  Today's project is created for the latest challenge over at the Cameo Creations Challenge blog with the theme "Welcome 2013."  Part of my New Year's resolution for 2013 is to continue making better healthy choices, which includes walking with my walking buddy - when the weather improves, that is.  It's been raining on and off where I live and really cold, but when it does get a bit sunnier around here, I will call on my walking buddy and start walking outdoors again.   Pounding on the elliptical is good but I crave the girly chitchats ;).   This card is created using a shoe card image by Loni Harris, purchased through the Silhouette Studio and cut with my Cameo. 

I threaded an old yellow shoe lace from one of my daughter's old sneakers and then cut it to size.  I also took one of her old baby socks and cut the top part of it down to size.  The sentiment "Let's do this!" on the bottom layer of the card was written using the Abbeyline font - I used the print and cut feature on the Silhouette Studio for the bottom piece then foam mounted it to the shoe card.  I used the internal offset feature to create  a layer for my inside sentiment, again using the same font.  Here is the inside of the card.

The envelope is a freebie image from when I bought my Cameo a year ago.  The sneakers image printed on the envelope is by Echo Park and is a print and cut image purchased from the Silhouette Store.  I wrote the year 2013 on Craftworks candis.  The flower on the sock is premade, purchased from Michaels.
