Hi all! I'm back with another set of hybrid LOs. Still digging the CM Storybook Creator digital scrapbook software as you can see ;). If my friend Lori V. sees these pages she'll get a kick out of them because her son and my son both tested for their first degree blackbelts a year ago. Yes, these are really old pics (2008), but like I've said before, I'm really behind in scrapbooking :(.
As you can see above, I finished 4 12x12 pages of my son's very first Tae Kwon Do Tournament back in 2008. I wanted to create a big bold title so I left room for them when I arranged the pictures and elements in the digi scrapbook software. I then used the Chinese Takeaway font for the title and created a shadow in white before cutting them out with my Cameo.
Here's one page after I printed.
Oh, wanted to mention that I'm also learning to use
masks/brushes that you can use as photo templates as
I did on this picture - cool effect, eh?
And some closeups:
I love digi-stitching ;) - much better than I
could ever do with a sewing machine!
I just love this hinge digi element - it adds a bit of
masculinity to the page
I added a CD pocket (from the Silhouette Store)
to hold the CD containing some videos of the event.

Thanks for visiting me today!

Thanks, Jill! Can you tell I'm catching up with my pages?! Never mind that I'm still on 2008 LOL! Thanks for stopping by!
Wow! This is most definitely a labour of love. I don't think I have the patience for such detailed cataloging! Awesome ob - love the layout, really fun and bright. And could not help but notice the handsome star of the show!
hugs
Fantastic page! You are really getting the hang of this digital scrapbooking! Love your work!
Fantastic layouts Melody.Congrats.
Nice layout and to attach the cd to it is a great idea! You get to capture the event both through scrapbooking and see the video that coordinates with it.. just awesome.
