Hello my blogging friends! Thanks for stopping by again. I was working on some pictures from 2008 and did a 2-page 12x12 LO. I have a small box of pictures I had printed through Snapfish last year when they were having a 1 cent per photo deal.
I was able to use 9 photos - whoo-hoo! On my way to making a big dent on the 2008 photo stack LOL! The title was cut with the Cameo using the Fancy Pants font. I used the offset feature to make the shadow. The swirly borders were also cut with the Cameo and is a border image purchased from the Silhouette store. I again used the offset feature to create the shadow for the swirly borders. The 5 bees were cut using the Cricut cart Sentimentals - 5 to represent the 5 busy bees posing as unassuming kids ;).
It was a happy mail day for me yesterday - got my new American Eagle jeans (my new favorite brand of jeans!) and a small box of Card Candis from Craftwork Cards I purchased through Blitsy last week (fast shipping!). I have always been in awe of the Card Candis used by Enfys over at Going Buggy blog and couldn't wait to finally try them. They were a tad bigger than what I expected them to be but no biggie. They come in a packet (I'll post pics some other time) with over 400 pieces I believe - I wasn't about to count them as I did purchase more than one packet - I'm just going to take their word for it ;).
Here are some closeups:
I used one of the Card Candis in the middle of this K& Co flower.
Thanks again for stopping by!

I love your layout! Loving the bees too,
How did I miss this one? Great pages and I really love that wavy border. Really cute font too? Did you buy that one in the Silhouette store or was it on a free site?
Thanks Carri, Maria & Sabrina!
@ Sabrina: the font was a free one from 1001 fonts I believe - have had it for a couple of years now. Reminds me of the Hello Kitty font.
Love the Layout.Layouts are a true challenge for me. I want to do them but somehow dont get myself to do it. This one has such clean lines to it. Inspiring. TFS
